This three afternoon course offers a more in-depth look at World War II in the Pacific. Learn the basics including life on a ship, command structure, naval terms, and warships from the U.S. and Japan. Examine the cultural backgrounds of the U.S. and Japan pre-war, important battles, and events leading up to the attack on Pearl Harbor. Japan’s view on the war today and its relations with other Asian countries is covered.
