Track the minutes you read. For every 250 minutes read, earn a prize from a local business. Read 1000 minutes and get invited to an exclusive pool party at Country Inn & Suites in Galena! Pick up a booklet to track reading at the library.
Essay/Art Contest
Share your voice with your community! Enter our essay and art contest for a chance to win. Entries due by July 31.
Grades K-2: write a few sentences and draw a picture about what makes you special.
Grades 3-5: write a paragraph about what makes you uniquely you.
Grades 6-12: write a five paragraph essay about a topic about which you are passionate.
A random participant will be drawn to win a gift certificate to La Michoacana Irmanaju.
