Award-winning author Barbara Stark-Nemon uses knitting and embroidery and her background in Art History in her novels. Learn how her own fiber art and her research informed her stories and how other artists and novels inspired her. Hear how embroidery is a main feature of her new novel, Isabela’s Way.
Barbara Stark-Nemon, author of award-winning novels Even in Darkness and Hard Cider, writes, cycles, swims, does fiber arts and gardens in Ann Arbor and Northport, Michigan. She has degrees in English literature, art history, and speech-language pathology from the University of Michigan.
