Join us for Silent Book Club where readers gather for low key socializing and quiet reading in a comfy location with cozy vibes. This month we’ll be meeting at Galena Roasters on Main Street after hours! The baristas will be behind the counter crafting coffees, teas, and more!
There’s no assigned reading. All readers are welcome—ebooks, audiobooks, textbooks, comic books… it’s BYOBook, but if you need recommendations you can ask the group or a librarian. We’ll meet each month either at the library or local business, socialize and share, then settle in for an hour of silent, sustained reading. At the end of the hour, attendees can socialize, keep reading, or head out.
If you’re an audiobook listener, we ask that you wear headphones or earbuds. If you’d like to bring something to do with your hands while you listen, that’s ok too.
